A little bit about me – I’m a proud Filipina who’s had quite the journey – born in Saudi Arabia, grew up in the Philippines, and now calling the United Arab Emirates home sweet home.
You could say I wear many hats: I’m a work-from-home mom, a savvy business owner, a freelance extraordinaire, a virtual assistant, and a creative content creator.
My story? Well, it’s a mix of diverse experiences. I’ve spent 4 years as an executive secretary/ personal assistant, keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. Before that, I delved into the vibrant world of food and beverage for 4.5 years, learning the ins and outs of the industry. And let’s not forget my 3-year stint in events management, where every day brought new challenges and triumphs.
My Professional Career
You know, my journey has been quite the adventure, filled with experiences that have shaped me into who I am today.
During my time as a Personal Assistant/Executive Assistant, I’ve really fine-tuned my organizational and multitasking skills. I’ve worn many hats, from keeping calendars in check to making sure travel plans go off without a hitch. Anticipating needs and staying proactive has become second nature to me, and it’s all contributed to keeping those executive offices running like a well-oiled machine.
Then there’s my stint in the F&B industry, where I found my groove as a restaurant supervisor and guest relations manager. It’s here that I really learned the importance of communication and delivering top-notch service. Whether it’s handling inquiries or smoothing over concerns, I’ve always had a knack for putting the customer first.
And let’s not forget my time in event management! Talk about attention to detail. From organizing logistics to brainstorming ideas for social gatherings, I’ve got a knack for making sure every detail is just right. It’s all about creating those unforgettable moments, you know?

My Personal Life
Welcome to my world! I’m a 30-year-old Filipina who has called the UAE home for the past 7.5 years. It’s been an incredible journey of growth and discovery in this vibrant and diverse country. One of the greatest blessings in my life is my marriage to the love of my life, with whom I’ve shared five wonderful years and recently celebrated our first year of marriage. Our family is completed by my amazing 13-year-old son, who brings endless joy and laughter to our lives.
When I’m not immersed in the beautiful chaos of family life, you’ll often find me indulging in my favorite hobbies. I’m a self-professed binge-watcher of comedy and detective crime shows, always on the lookout for the next thrilling series to dive into. On sunny weekends, you might catch me on the volleyball court, where I unleash my competitive spirit and enjoy the camaraderie of the game. And when I crave some quiet time, I escape into the world of chic-flick books, losing myself in stories of love, laughter, and life lessons.
Recently, I embarked on a new adventure by launching my YouTube channel, “The pursuit of happyneslie.” Here, I share insights and experiences on various pursuits close to my heart, from carving a fulfilling career as a virtual assistant to exploring the realm of free education and delving into the nuances of hiring a VA. But it’s not just about work; I also delve into the intricacies of maintaining a happy and thriving marriage, adding a personal touch to my channel that goes beyond the professional sphere.
